Alexandria High School is a public high school located in Alexandria, Alabama, USA. Alexandria High School is part of the Calhoun County School System. They educate students in grades 6-12.[2]
The school's mascot is the Valley Cub. The school colors are orange and black.

The school is home to a Science Club, Seniors High Scholars Bowl,Junior High Scholars Bowl, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Government Association, Spanish Club, Mu Alpha Theta(Math Club), a school newspaper production ("Bear Facts"), Future Farmers of America, FCCLA, the "SADD" program, Honor society, Junior Honor Society, Senior Honor Society, Builders Club, Key Club, State-level choir, and a superior, award-winning marching band and concert band (the "Sound of the Valley"), which has met the requirements and passed in the state contest among concert bands in Alabama for 4 years as of April 2007. The School sends students to the Calhoun County Spelling Bee, and has produced several county champions. Students of grades 7 through 12 from Alexandria have competed in math tournaments, including the annual Calhoun County (AL) Schools Math Tournament. The official student-produced annual yearbook is called, "The Alexandrian." The "Frank Little Memorial Botanical Garden" is found adjacent to the new basketball gymnasium.
The school offers the following athletic programs: Varsity Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Golf, Baseball, Softball, and Cheerleading. Although the track and field program is non-existent, athletes from Alexandria informally compete in local track and field meets. The school competes in Class 4A of the Alabama High School Athletic Association.
